Korea Touch season; first Spire Korea Touch Championship March 21

To get the season off to a roaring start, the First Tournament of the 2009 Spire Series - “The Hampson Memorial Tournament” is scheduled for Saturday 21st of March at the Jamwon/Apkujeong Rugby pitch ( where the last tournament of 2008 was held, near the Hannam Bridge on the Hangang riverside) It would be great to kick off the first tournament of the season with a large turn-out of teams and their supporters !

Timings:

Registration Confirmation/Payment will start from 10:15am;,
Referees Briefing at 10:30am ;
and the Captains Briefing to start at 10:45am.
First whistles are scheduled to blow at 11:00am, with us finishing up around 4:00pm with the celebratory beverages and prize giving.
Details for Teams:

· Final Team Registration/Nomination for the Tournament must be confirmed by Sunday 15th of March. This will allow appropriate time to organize the draw, fill gaps in teams where necessary and ensure we have enough equipment/beverages to cater for the turnout.
· Please limit your team size to 12 players. This maximum team size has been introduced for all Tournaments this year.
· The registration fee is KRW120,000 per team. This is a set amount per team irrelevant of the number of players in the team.
· Each team must provide a referee and confirm the name of the person as part of the Team registration. (This will allow us to confirm referee numbers and assist in the scheduling of the draw)
· Uniforms: Wear the same SPIRE shirts if possible, otherwise make sure that you have team shirts.
· Maps / General Directions: Subway Shinsa Stn (Exit 5, walk 1km) or Apgujung (Exit 1, walk 0.8km) – As per attached.
