Sanyo Wild Knights won the 46th All-Japan Championship

Even though they finished this year's Top League as the runner-up, Sanyo Wild Knights won the 46th All-Japan Championship when they beat Suntory Sungoliath 24-16 at the Prince Chichibu Memorial Ground. Yu, Young-nam (Dankook Uni-Sangmu-Sanyo) became the first Korean player to win the trophy in Japan.
